Syncard installation & user guide
Enable NetSuite payment features, install the Salora CardConnect bundle, set subsidiary and script parameters, then process sales orders, invoices, and refunds through Syncard.
Values for CardConnect, Site URL, and script parameters come from Salora for each account. This page is the path through NetSuite, not a substitute for those credentials.
01
Preparation & installation
Prepare the instance so credit card payments and payment instruments are on, then install the bundle. Installation usually takes 5–10 minutes.
- Go to Setup > Company > Enable Features > Transactions and turn on Credit Card Payments and Payment Instruments.
- Go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles.
- Search for [Salora] CardConnect Invoice Bundle and install it. Wait until the install finishes.
- Confirm CardConnect as a payment method under Setup > Accounting > Accounting Lists, with Type set to Payment Method.
02
Subsidiary setup
CardConnect has to be configured on the company or on each subsidiary that will take payments.
- Non-OneWorld: Setup > Company > Company Information. Enter the CardConnect values Salora provides.
- OneWorld: Setup > Company > Subsidiaries. Edit each subsidiary that will process payments and enter the same CardConnect values.
03
Script parameters
Custom preferences keep the hosted page and authorization scripts from failing silently.
- Go to Setup > Company > General Preferences and scroll to Custom Preferences.
- Enter Site URL, CSURL, Authorization, and Content-Type using the values Salora provides for that account.
04
Roles & permissions
Users who take payments need edit access on payment instruments. Customer records need a payment method on file.
- Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles. Grant at least Edit on Automated Clearing House, Payment Card, Payment Card Token, and Payment Instruments.
- On the customer record, open Financial and add a payment card or ACH instrument before sending a Pay Now invoice.
05
Using Syncard
Transaction type decides whether you authorize now, capture now, or send the customer to the hosted payment page.
- Sales order: on the Billing subtab, set the payment method to CardConnect and choose the authorize operation when you are not capturing funds yet.
- Invoice: save and approve so Syncard can send the hosted payment page link. When the customer pays, NetSuite marks the invoice paid.
- Cash sale: capture immediately at the point of sale.
- Customer payment: set CardConnect on the Payment Method subtab and use Capture only for previously authorized amounts.
- Cash refund: CardConnect with Refund only for a transaction already captured.
- Customer refund: Transactions > Customers > Issue Customer Refunds, then set CardConnect and the refund operation.
06
Payment events & monitoring
Use the custom records to confirm CardConnect events posted and that Syncard is talking to the processor.
- Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Record Types > CardConnect Payment Event > List.
- Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Record Types > CardConnect SynCard Integration > List.
