A dental group’s revenue engine stopped running clean
Subscription dental, Salesforce, a payment processor, a bank feed, and NetSuite were all “live.” Recognition dates and payments were not.

Multi-location dental group
What was going on
Dental organizations running memberships across locations are software companies whether they like the label or not. This group collected recurring revenue through Salesforce and MX Merchant, reconciled a bank feed, and expected NetSuite to be the financial record. SuiteBilling was installed. Recognition scripts had accumulated. Integrations had not been reviewed at the current scale.
The challenge
- Rev rec dates on sales orders did not match delivery
- Logic was fragmented across scripts with no owner
- SuiteBilling had not been built out for the membership complexity that came with growth
- Payment failures were showing up in too many places at once
SuiteBilling and rev-rec discovery before code, then date logic and payment infrastructure finance could defend.
- Full SuiteBilling and rev-rec assessment before writing new code
- Custom SuiteScript to correct rev-rec date logic on sales orders
- SuiteBilling configuration aligned to defensible recognition going forward
- Payment-path repair so membership cash and the invoice agreed
