Banking Integrations
Bank files, statement import, and payment rails that finance can trust, instead of a one-off SFTP job that only one person understands.
What this is in NetSuite
NetSuite banking is the path from vendor payments and customer receipts to the actual bank. That includes NACHA/ACH files, BAI2 or CAMT statement import, positive pay, and SuiteApps such as FiSPAN / bank-link products. The failure mode we see most is a “finished” integration that still needs a person to babysit files every Thursday.
- Payment file formats (NACHA and bank-specific variants)
- Statement import and match rules
- Bank detail and vendor-change approvals
- Embedded banking SuiteApps and SFTP where the bank still requires a file
- A payment path you can run without the original implementer on the call
- Sandbox test payments before production dollars move
- Clear ownership of exceptions: unmatched statements, rejected ACHs, vendor bank changes
What Salora actually does
- Sit between finance, the bank’s treasury team, and any clinical or ops system feeding refunds
- Prefer a maintainable bank link over a custom file when the budget and the bank allow it
- Configure approvals so the person who can change a routing number is not the person who can pay
- Stay through the first live cycles. Banking work rarely ends at “file generated.”
Who benefits
Healthcare groups leaving printed checks, life-sciences operators with complex cash, and any team whose “banking project” turned into seven months of process work.
Pyramid Pharma started as a banking integration and became a longer stabilization. Eastern Nephrology moved from printed checks toward NACHA, First Citizens Link, and payment-file controls with Salora coordinating bank and Epic/Acumen conversations.
Named work
From printed checks to a bank-ready AP path
A nephrology group with 14 offices, 46 affiliated dialysis centers, and 68 physicians was running NetSuite on top of manual payments, Excel refunds, and printed checks.
We came in to fix a banking integration. We stayed for seven months.
A focused banking integration became cash trust, process ownership, and a reason to stay until the instance behaved.
Questions teams ask
- Do you build custom SFTP payment files?
- When the bank requires it. We also push for native or SuiteApp bank links when they will be cheaper to live with than a custom file that breaks on the next treasury change.
- Will you work with our bank, not just NetSuite?
- Yes. Banking in NetSuite fails when the ERP is configured in isolation. We join the treasury and bank calls so formats, positive pay, and approvals match both sides.
